The EU SME Centre, the China IP SME Helpdesk, along with the European Chamber and the Swedish Chamber, are pleased to invite you to our upcoming Working Group Meeting on the revised Copyright Law and Patent Law on 18th June.

On 1June 2021, the new Patent and Copyright laws entered into force. Both laws brought along some sunbstantial changes such as the creation of the patent linkage system, the introcution of the open license system and the extension of copyrightable works. For enterprises doing business in China or internationalising to China, it is important to comprehend the recent changes, to successfully protect their inventions and creative content.

The EUCCC IPR, Legal and SME Working Groups in collaboration with the Swedish Chamber of Commerce, China IP SME Helpdesk and the EU SME Centre organise the Working Group Meeting to discuss the recent changes. During the Working Group meeting, Mr. Xiaofan Chen from AWA Asia Limited will discuss the main changes introduced in the Patent Law and Mr. Matias Zubimendi, the IP Business Advisor at China IP SME Helpdesk will discuss the changes in the Copyright Law. The Working Group Meeting will end with a Q&A session where attendees can raise their questions and interact with the speakers.
