Following the declaration of the state of emergency on March 14, the Spanish Government has approved several regulations that have (i) modified the landscape of employment restructuring operations; (ii) imposed significant restrictions on several sectors affecting companies’ foreign investments; and (iii) added a great degree of flexibility for certain issues that affect companies’ day-to-day corporate legal matters.
